Grand Haven won going away Friday night, downing OK Red rival West Ottawa 55-34 in boys hoops action.

The host Bucs led 15-4 after one, but the Panthers rebound to trail by just four, 23-19, at the break. Grand Haven, though outscored West Ottawa 32-15 in the second half to seal the victory.

Connor Grimes led Grand Haven with 17 points, while Noah Lein had 15 points and five assists, and Isaak Newhouse added eight points in the win.

West Ottawa was led by Jonell Williams, who finished with 10 points in the defeat.
