Points were at a premium on Friday night as the Ludington girls basketball team defeated Fremont in a Lakes 8 conference encounter, 28-22.
Ludington (5-3) was led by Claire Flewelling and Kalli Wahr, who had five points apiece.
The Orioles led 14-3 at halftime and 21-13 after the third quarter.
“It wasn’t pretty,’ said Ludington Coach Thad Shank. “Both teams made it very tough for the opposition to score.”
