The Richards sisters put on quite a show Friday, combining for 48 points as Fruitport Calvary Christian stomped Holland Calvary 75-24 in Alliance Conference basketball action.

Allyson Richards led the Eagles (6-1) with 28 points 11 rebounds while Taylor Richards had 20 points and 12 rebounds.

The Eagles jumped out to a 26-7 lead after the first quarter then cruised to a 68-20 lead after three. Holland Calvary only managed two points in the third quarter.

“Championships are won at the defensive end and the girls have committed to improving each time they step on the floor and tonight was one small step in that direction,” said Fruitport Calvary Coach Brad Richards. “But we have a long ways to go.”

Holland Calvary (2-3) was led by Megan Fifer’s nine points.
