The Richards Sisters continued to lead the Fruitport Calvary Christian girls basketball team Tuesday night with solid performances as the Eagles defeated Kent City Algoma Christian 71-32 in Alliance League hoops action.

The Eagles jumped out to a 43-19 lead at halftime and did not let up in the third, holding on to a commanding 65-27 lead after three.

“We have a renewed focus on holding everyone accountable on defense for 32 minutes,” said Coach Brad Richards “We have a big game coming up against Coopersville on Saturday and we’re looking forward to that challenge.”

Taylor Richards led the Eagles (8-1) with 31 points and 14 rebounds, while Allyson Richards had 24 points and 10 rebounds.  Brianna Zehr added nine points and eight assists.
