Reeths-Puffer couldn’t get its offense going against Zeeland West on Friday. The Rockets fell 64-35 in a game where neither team had a player score in double figures.

Zeeland West jumped out to a 21-11 first quarter lead and shutdown Reeths-Puffer to four points in the second and a 40-15 halftime lead.

“We can compete but we have to play perfect to win right now,” said Reeths-Puffer coach Dave Ingles. “I was ok with how we played in the second half, but if we don’t follow our offense we won’t be able to win many games.”

Jalen Cooley and Deandre Oaks-Owens led the Rockets with seven points each.

Zach Poppema led Zeeland West with nine points.
