Local Sports JournalNick Goeglein scored six of his game-high 25 points in overtime to lead Spring Lake to a 59-52 victory over Fremont Tuesday in Lakes 8 Conference basketball action.
The Lakers led by eight at halftime and 11 early in the third quarter before Fremont came roaring back.
Dylan Krim hit an 18-footer with 2.8 seconds left to give Fremont a two-point lead. Spring Lake’s Zach Montgomery was fouled on the inbounds pass and hit two free throws to force the overtime period.
