The Spring Lake girls basketball team defeated Fremont on Tuesday night 44-23 in a Lakes 8 conference game.
The Lakers had a 19-13 halftime lead and led after the third quarter 28-16 as the Lakers held the Packers to three third quarter points.
Reiko Johnson led the Lakers with 14 points. Emily VanWingen had eight points and three steals, while Remi French led under the basket with 13 rebounds.
The Packers were led in a losing effort by Marissa Spickerman with six points.
Lexie Bradley and Hailey Lensky had five points each.
