All seven Hesperia wrestlers are still alive for a state championship at the Individual State Finals Meet at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Hesepria’s Trenton Roesly (135), Mark Workman (160), Chase Siersema (140), Davian Gowens (103), Corey Agens (103), Zack Yates (145) and Logan Eaves (145) have each won two matches and will wrestle in the Division 4 semifinals.

Also winning two matches and reaching the semifinals are Shelby’s Anthony Guerra (152) and Whitehall’s Dakota Hoffman (152) and Reiley Brown (119) in Division 3.

Grand Haven’s Dakota Juarez (160) and Chase VanHoef (285) and Mona Shores’ Taylor McPhail (145) have reached the semifinals in Division 1.

Fruitport’s Chris Hendricks (285) has won both his matches in Division 2, while Hart’s Spencer Reterstoff (160), Holton’s Garrett Martin (130) and Kent City’s Shane Rodenburg (171) and Tom Devos (285) have reached the semifinals in Division 4.

Wrestlers still alive and who can still place as high as third and earn all-state honors by placing in the top-eight of their respective weight classes are the following grapplers.

In Division 2, Fruitport’s Tommy Martinez (135) and Austin Fialek (152) and Fremont’s Luke Spotts (130).

In Division 3, Mason County Central’s Trever Skinner (125), Spencer Knizacky (152), Josh Quinn (189) and Doug Wyman (285), Grant’s Chase Hicks (135) and Niko Guajardo (140), Shelby’s Dylan Unger (140), Forrest Courtright (160) and Teddy Barco-Trevino (103) and  Whitehall’s Hunter Shaw (285), Corey Robinson (103).

In Division 4, Hart’s Carl Morgan (189), Holton’s Hayden Cregg (140), Kent City’s Brendon Rodenburg (140) and Montague’s Gabe Flood (135) can still earn all-state honors.
