A strong defensive fourth quarter led to a 53-40 victory for the North Muskegon boys basketball team over Montague on Monday night in a West Michigan conference game.

Montague had a 29-27 lead going to the half and a 37-36 after the third quarter.  

The Norsemen came out strong in the fourth quarter with a 17-3 run to earn the victory.

Antonio Gordon led the Norsemen with 11 points, while Marcos Visconti had 10 points and eight rebounds.  Mitch Edick had eight points and five rebounds.

The Wildcats were led by Luke VanBoxel who had 15 points 11 rebounds, while Jacob Buchberger scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds.
