Grant defense stepped up in its 46-22 win over Fruitport in Lakes 8 boys basketball action on Friday. The Tigers held the Trojans to just six first-half points.
Tyler Manlick led Grant with 14 opints and three steals while Nick Brown added 13 points, eight rebounds and four blocks.
The Tigers led 11-4 after the first quarter and took a 21-6 lead into half time.
Fruitport was led by Travis Grimm with eight points and nine rebounds.
