The Holton Red Devils used a stifling defense to pound Central Montcalm 56-28 Saturday in Central State Activities Association girls basketball action.
The Red Devils held Central Montcalm to 10 points in the first half, just five in each quarter, to take control of the contest.
Rachel Youngs had 15 points and seven steals for Holton. Katie Wildfong and Shelby Younts added nine and eight points respectively.
