Kody Ambrose leads Mason County Central to boys basketball win over Benzie Central

Kody Ambrose scored 18 points as Mason County Central earned a 75-38 win over Benzie Central in boys basketball on Tuesday night.

The Spartans led 19-10 after one quarter and 38-17 at halftime.

MCC had 21 team assists and committed only seven turnovers.

Johnny Shafer added 12 points for MCC and Coltyn Tyndall had six points, five steals, three assists and four steals.

“We really played team basketball tonight on both ends of the floor,” said MCC coach Jeff Tuka. “Everyone was very solid for us. We have a really tough Shelby team coming in here on Thursday night and we have to be ready to play.”
