Ludington grinded out a 38-30 win over Grant for a Lakes 8 girls basketball win on Monday. The Orioles used a balanced attack with seven players scoring.
“Grand did a great job with their half court defense tonight,” said Ludington coach Thad Shank. “It was a struggle for anyone to score.”
The Orioles took a 20-18 lead into hafltime and held a 26-24 lead to start the fourth quarter.
Brandy Thomas led Ludington with 15 points and seven rebounds while Kristen Reidenbach had seven points, six rebounds and four assists.
Laura Bouwkamp led Grant with 14 points.
