Mason County Central used a 23-point second quarter to roll past Hart, 66-37 on Thursday.

Kody Ambrose and Johnny Shaffer led the MCC effort with 14 points each. Shafer also had six rebounds and Ambrose posted three steals. Coltyn Tyndall added six points and six rebounds for the Spartans.

Brand Amstutz paced Hart with 10 points.

“Hart really battle and got better every quarter,” said MCC coach Jeff Tuke. “They also hit seven 3’s in the game. We played with intensity throughout and had 10 players score.”
