Muskegon Community College falls big to Lake Michigan College in women’s hoops

Lake Michigan College had Muskegon Community College’s number on Wednesday night as it topped the Jayhawks 77-57 in women’s basketball.

MCC fell behind early to the No. 11 Red Hawks and never recovered.

Krystal Geers led the Jayhawks with 15 points and Taylor Brown played a solid all around game with 13 points, nine rebounds and six assists.

Sonnie Kurnat also scored 12 points and had nine rebounds for MCC.
