North Muskegon got off to a fast start as they beat Ravenna 69-47 in a boys West Michigan Conference game on Tuesday night.

NM led 12-11 after one quarter and 33-23 at halftime as Holden VanderWeele scored nine of his 11 points in the opening quarter.

Bailey Cooper’s three 3-pointers in the third quarter helped NM forge a 50-33 lead heading into the final quarter.

Mitch Edick scored 12 points for NM, Reese McCamant had seven steals and Antonio Gordon had five steals for North Muskegon.

“It was A good team effort by everybody and we sent the seniors off with a win their last home game,” North Muskegon coach Jeff Cooke said.

Connor Beahan led Ravenna with 17 points and Alex White scored 11.
