North Muskegon’s girls basketball team used patience and defensive pressure to top Ravenna 48-34 on Thursday. The Norse fought through Ravenna defense and converted Bulldog turnovers in to points.

Despite a 10-8 first quarter deficit, North Muskegon battled back to take a 22-16 halftime lead and led 36-21 after three.

“We used our depth to keep up the pressure offensively and defensively to run on them,” said North Muskegon coach Doug Clark. “It was the final regular season home game and it was nice for the seniors, Keah Brown, Abby Clark and Anna Osborn to all have good games and contribute to a victory.”

Osborn played well on both sides of the basket with 11 points and 11 rebounds while Clark finished with 11 points. Brown came through with 11 rebounds and Olivia Duncan chipped in 10 points.

Erica Adams led Ravenna with 15 points and Melissa McWatters added seven points.
