A quick start paced Fremont over Sparta, 79-43 in a non-league boys basketball matchup on Monday. Fremont jumped out to a 17-1 lead and placed four players in double figures.
Dylan Krim led a Fremont effort that held a 41-20 halftime lead. Krim finished with 24 points, seven assists and seven rebounds. Also leading the Packers was Daniel Geeting with 16 points and Blake Siersema with 11 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks.
The Packers were up 25-7 after the first quarter and led 21-20 by hafltime.
The Packers now ride 10 wins out of the last 11 games with its only loss arriving from Spring Lake in overtime. Fremont improves to 11-3 overall.
