A quick start by the Mona Shores girls basketball team gave them a 59-45 victory over Grand Rapids Union on Tuesday night.
The Sailors cruised to 14-2 lead after the first quarter and a 35-13 lead by halftime.
Jasmyn Walker led the Sailors with 22 points and seven rebounds while Shamara Tumblin and Amy Gillings had eight points each.
