Reeths-Puffer couldn’t overcome a four-point second quarter in its 55-41 loss to Grand Rapdis Kenowa Hills. The Rockets trailed 26-18 at halftime in the OK Black loss on Monday.

Deandre Oaks-Owens led Reeths-Puffer with 14 points and five rebounds. The Rockets’ sophomore guard suffered from early foul trouble and was forced to sit out most of the second quarter.

“Close game pretty much the entire game,” said Reeths-Puffer coach Dave Ingles. “We went 7 of 15 from the line which hurt, and we couldn’t make the open shot.”

Jordan Cooley also paced Reeth-Puffer with 10 points.
