Spring Lake raced out to an early lead and beat Ludington 53-42 in a Lakes 8 girls game on Tuesday night.
The Lakers led 16-3 after one quarter and 29-13 at halftime.
Reiko Johnson led the Lakers with 17 points, Kelsee Zuidema added 11 points and 18 rebounds and Courtney Kyser scored 10 points.
Kristen Reidenbach and Brandi Thomas scored 10 points each to lead the Orioles.
