Tristen Moore’s 30 points led Shelby past Ravenna, 66-44 in WMC girls basketball. Moore shot 13 of 24 from the floor for the Tigers who had 24 offensive rebounds as a team.

Shelby trailed 13-10 after the first quarter but managed to tie the score 27-27 at halftime.

“Ravenna couldn’t miss in the first half, they have improved a lot,” said Shelby coach Sarah Wolting. “We were more patient (in the second half) and saw the open person. They struggled stopping Tristen and we made some really good passes to her inside.”

Moore would also finish with 19 rebounds, nine on the offensive end, and four blocked shots.

Choloe Sillman helped drive Shelby’s offense with nine points, seven assists and seven rebounds. Mekenna Inglis had nine points, 12 rebounds, and two assists while Jozilyn Kinster had eight points and four rebounds. Hannah Roberts added six points and four assists.

Ravenna was led by Erica Adams with 12 points. Melissa McWatters scored eight points and Jamie Speolman scored five.
