Brandon Childress’ 33 point game led the Baldwin boys basketball team over Pentwater on Friday night, 68-40 to capture the Class D district championship.

The Panthers jumped out to a 37-17 lead at halftime and led after the third quarter 55-27.

Brandon Beane added 13 points for the Panthers while DaeKwon Fisher had 10 points.

The Falcons were led by Chance Helms with 14 points. Joey Trailkill, Jared Visger, and Sam Wagner each scored six points.

Baldwin will play Mt. Pleasant Scared Heart on Monday night in a regional semifinal game.
