Two Muskegon area boys basketball teams know who they’ll be playing in their quarterfinal matchups next week Tuesday.

The Muskegon Big Reds will face Ann Arbor Skyline in the Class A quarterfinals next Tuesday, March, 18 at Lansing Eastern High School. Ann Arbor topped Kalamazoo Central 70-56 on Thursday after the game planned for Wednesday was called due to weather.

In Class C, Muskegon Heights Academy looks to go against Hillsdale on Tuesday and will head to Vicksburg High School. Hillsdale ran past Vermontville Maple Valley, 70-49.

Hillsdale is 24-1 on the season with its only loss coming to Pewamo-Westphalia early in the season. Pewamo-Westphalia topped Shelby in the Class C Region 22 final on Wednesday and will face back-to-back Class C state champion Flint Beecher, which is going for the three-peat.

The Big Reds will face an Ann Arbor Skyline team that is 17-7 on the season. Tristen Wilson is coming off his highest scoring game of the season for Ann Arbor with 33 points, 11 rebounds and seven blocks in the regional finals against Kalamazoo Central.

Muskegon could also have its hands full with Ann Arbor’s Johnathon Muir-Cotton who has consistently seen high double figures of offense this season.

Both games start at 7 p.m. on Tuesday with Muskegon playing at Lansing Eastern and Muskegon Heights Academy at Vicksburg.
