Kent City splits baseball doubleheader with Ravenna

Kent City spilt its doubleheader with Ravenna on Saturday. The Eagles won 9-7 in Game 1, but fell 5-4 in a nine inning Game 2.

Ben Cebelak had a double, a single and three RBI for Kent City and Kyle Boyd had an RBI and a hit.

Winning pitcher Jake Krueger struckout eight and had two hits at the plate for the Eagles.

in the nightcap, Luke O’keefe pitched through seven innings for Kent City and had six strikeouts.

Randy Thompson had two hits and an RBI, Quinn Koomen had a single and a double, Krueger had two hits and Ben Cebelak had two hits and an RBI for Kent City (2-2, 1-1).
