The Muskegon Community College softball team is on a serious roll.

The Jayhawks extended their winning streak to 12 games Wednesday with an 8-4 victory over Jackson Community College.

The victory kept MCC tied for the lead in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association standings. Both teams are 10-0 in league play.

Sarah Ferenz had the big bat for the Jayhawks with two home runs and three RBI. Caten Teff also homered for MCC.

Pitcher Megan Vander Wal recorded the win, scattering seven hits while striking out three and walking one in a complete game effort.

A four-run third inning sealed the win for the Jayhawks.
