Muskegon Community College split its doubleheader with Davenport on Sunday. The Jayhawks fell 7-4 in Game 1 but won the nightcap 15-12.

Patrick Gidding led MCC in the opener with a pair of hits.

Game 2 saw a different Jayhawk offense take the field. Matt Jesse, Kory Brown, Stephon Chandonnet and Hunter Stinger each tallied three hits apiece. Stinger led with three RBI.

MCC improves to 28-15 overall and hosts Kalamazoo Valley Community College on Tuesday.
