Mona Shores fell to Northview Wednesday in a non-league tennis matchup.

Mona Shores’ Claire DeYoung fell 6-2, 6-1 to Claire Stan at No. 1 singles. Sophie Gossett lost 6-0, 6-2 to Northview’s Bridget Silva at No. 2 singles and Madison Hronek fell 6-3, 6-2 to Northview’s Emily Barnes at No. 3 singles. Bella Purosky lost 6-1, 6-1 to Northview’s Katie Pasche in the No. 4 singles match.

In No. 1 doubles, Mona Shores’ Emily Klemp and Erika Vanderlaan won 6-3, 5-7 and 10-7 in the tiebreaker over Maegan O’Herin and Megan Hubbard. In No, 2 doubles, the Sailors’ Bri Holtrab and Kay Chandonnet fell 6-3, 6-0 to Michaela Nyquist and Katie Oomkes. Caroline Schillaci and Alyssa Pyman lost in No. 3 doubles to Northview’s Katelyn Johnson and Lauren Albrecht, 6-2, 6-2. Maddie Myhre and Marissa Duff dropped the No. 4 doubles match to Northview’s Sarah Barton and Catherine Keen 6-2, 6-4.
