Muskegon Catholic Central bats woke up in the final two innings of its 7-4 win over visiting Coopersville on Monday.

The Crusaders scored two runs in the fifth and three more in the sixth after they fell behind 4-1 to start the bottom half of the fifth inning.

Zack Winzer led MCC at the plate with a pair of hits and three RBI. Alex Lewandoski also came through with two hits, three runs scored and five stolen bases. The pair combined for eight stolen bases.

Jacob Holt went yard for the Crusaders with a solo home run and Dominic Woodard had a double.

Winning pitcher Adam Callow gave up no runs or walks in two innings pitched and had one strikeout for MCC.
