Muskegon Community College golf finishes third at Western Conference Invite in Plymouth, IN

Muskegon Community College finished in the middle of the pack in the Western Conference golf tournament at the Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, IN.

The Jayhawks 644 placed them in third place over all behind Grand Rapids Community College’s 608. Jackson CC finished second with a 641 while Ancilla followed MCC with a 647 and Glen Oaks finished fifth with a 756.

Ollie Shepardson led MCC with rounds of 80 and 78. Joel Maire shot and 82 and 78, Marcus Fry scored rounds of 83 and 79 and Tyler Covell shot an 85 and 79.

MCC heads to the Ferris State University Invitational on Saturday for an 8 a.m. tee off.
