North Muskegon tops Muskegon Catholic in boys golf

North Muskegon’s Will Mierz shot a 36 to lead his team past Muskegon Catholic at Lincoln Golf Club on Friday. The Norse shot a team 166 while MCC scored a 187. 

While Mierz put down the lowest score of the match, Mitch Edick followed in second overall with a 42. Connor McEvoy and Matt Hanley both shot 44’s for the Norse.

The Crusaders were led by Collin Powers’s 43. Kris Berntzen shot a 46, Noah Bertolone scored a 47 and Brett Morse had a 51.
