Trevor Mosher pitched a complete game shutout and knocked in the winning run in the fifth inning, giving Reeths-Puffer a 3-0 victory Tuesday over Zeeland East in the first game of an O-K Black Conference doubleheader.

Mosher scattered three hits while striking out nine for Reeths-Puffer.

The Rockets dropped the second game 7-0. Joe Champoux pitched four innings for the Rockets without surrendering an earned run, but sloppy Reeths-Puffer defense allowed Zeeland East to pull away.

Kent City 5, Godwin Heights 1: Randy Thompson led the Eagles to victory by  pitching a complete game five-hitter while striking out seven and walking three.  Luke Scheuneman went 2-4 with a double, a run scored, and a RBI.  Kyle Boyd also doubled and scored a run.The Eagles improved to 11-4 on the season and are 7-2 in the O-K Silver Conference.

Fruitport 10-4, Ludington 3-2: Travis Grimm struck out nine and walked just two in seven inning pitched to earn the win for the Trojans (9-10, 4-2) in Game 1. Austin Curtis and Kolin Lakatos both hit 2-run home runs for Fruitport. Grimm also had three hits while Jason Carmean had three RBI. In the nightcap, Curtis worked out of a bases load no-out jam in the first inning and allowed just one run. Curtis picked up the win with eight strikeouts in seven inning pitched. Mitchel Reyes had two doubles and Alex Bowen had two hits. Chad Large led Ludington with two doubles.
