A pair of four run innings helped carry Holton to an 11-2 win over Shelby on Monday.

The Red Devils scored four runs in the third inning and four more in the fifth.

Aaron Poling led Holton with three hits and Hayden Cregg collected two.

Brendan Cregg tossed six innings allowing five hits and fanned four to earn the win.

Poling tossed a hitless inning and fanned three for Holton.

Kent City 11, Lee 1: The Eagles racked up 16 hits in the win. A seven-run sixth inning keyed Kent City’s win. Winning pitcher Jake Krueger, fanned ten and allowed four hits. Luke Scheuneman was 3-for-4 and Jayson Ellicott was 3-for-4 with two RBIs for the Eagles. Kyle Boyd was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, Ben Cebelak was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and Jake Krueger had two hits for the Eagles (10-4, 6-1).
