Grand Haven softball falls to Holland in rainfest

Grand Haven didn’t have any answers for Holland West Ottawa in its 9-1 loss in softball on Thursday. Bucs pitching struggled with seven walks in a rain soaked game.

Jordan Buckingham scored the Bucs’ lone run on a solo home run while Maddie Barshaw had a pair of hits.

Holland West Ottawa jumped on the board in the first inning with a two-run triple from Natalie Zuker. Rachael Serna would send Zuker home on a sacrifice fly to take an early 3-0 lead.

Morgan Dalman gave up six hits in the win for the Pathers.
