Muskegon Catholic rolls into Division 4 district soccer championship game with win over Montague

Micaela Halloran and Lauren Prince scored a pair of goals each as Muskegon Catholic defeated Montague 8-0 in a Division 4 district semifinal soccer game on Thursday.

Muskegon Catholic advances to face Western Michigan Christian in Saturday’s Division 4 district title game that begins at 11 a.m. at Muskegon Catholic.

Natalie Bertolone, Gabby Thelen and Anika Tyler also scored for MCC.

Halloran added three assists for the Crusaders and Prince had two helpers.

MCC goalkeeper Mackenzie Wozniak made one save and Montague goalie Katie Webster stopped ten shots.
