Muskegon girls take third, R-P fourth, and Mona Shores fifth at OK Black Conference track meet

MUSKEGON — Kenowa Hills won seven events Thursday to capture the O-K Black Conference girls league track meet.

Kenowa Hills ran up 147 points while second-place Zeeland East had 133 points.

A strong Muskegon Big Red squad finished third with 94 points. Kynihay Brown won the 100- and 200-meter dashes, Raven Moore won the high hurdles and Muskegon also won the 400- and 800-meter relays.

Reeths-Puffer finished fourth with 82 points, thanks to first place performances from Chloe Fox in the high jump and Carmaryia Williams in the 300-meter hurdles.

Mona Shores finished fifth with 14 points. The Sailors’ Jasmine Gulley won the long jump with a 16-feet-11 and 1/2-inches effort.
