Oakridge scored three runs in the third inning and made them stand up as they beat Hesperia 3-0 in a Division 3 pre-district baseball game on Tuesday.
The win sends the Eagles into Saturday’s district semifinals where they wiil face White Cloud at 11 a.m. at Hesperia High School.
James Abriatis had the big hit for the Eagles in the third inning with a two-run triple.
Jordan Fairchild had a pair of hits and an RBI for Oakridge.
Winning pitcher Wyatt Hilton allowed four hits and fanned nine for the Eagles.
Losing pitcher Kaleb McAree allowed six hits with three strikeouts for the Panthers.
