The “Grind Line” fan club of the Muskegon Risers gathered at Hennessy’s Irish Pub on Monday for the U.S. World Cup win over Ghana.

The Muskegon Risers’ fan club sure had a fanatical crowd at Hennessy’s Irish Pub to watch the U.S. World Cup soccer team pull out a dramatic 2-1 win over Ghana on Monday.

After such a turnout, Hennessy’s and the “Grind Line” (the official fan club of the Risers) decided they’d host another gathering on Sunday for the U.S. match against Portugal. Game time is set for 6 p.m.

Normally closed on Sundays, Hennessy’s decided to open up its establishment after such a large and passionate crowd showed up for the first U.S. match.

Watch the U.S. squad’s second World Cup match on Sunday with the Risers’ “Grind Line” fan club at 6 p.m. at Hennessy’s Irish Pub in downtown Muskegon.

The “Grind Line” is affiliated with the Muskegon Risers who is a newly established semi-professional soccer team that kicks off its inaugural season next May in Muskegon.
