Muskegon Community College remains winless with men’s soccer loss to Lake Michigan

A frustrating season continued Wednesday night for the Muskegon Community College men’s soccer team, which lost a 2-1 decision to Lake Michigan College.

The Red Hawks scored twice in the first half for a 2-0 halftime lead on the Jayhawks, who slip to 0-8 on the season.

In the second half, freshman Chaise Schuiteman scored off an assist delivered by sophomore Aaron Dault, but the Jayhawks were unable to collect the equalizer.

Freshman goalie Thomas Swiatek made his first start in goal and had 10 saves for MCC.
