Mason Harloff scores corner kick goal as Grand Haven wins fourth consecutive Division 1 district soccer title

A Mason Harloff corner kick goal lifted Grand Haven 2-1 over Rockford for a Division 1 district championship on Saturday.The second half goal came from the left side and is the third time the Bucs have beaten Rockford this season.

The victory gave Grand Haven its fourth district title in a row and advanced the Buccaneers to a regional Division 1 game on Wednesday. Grand Haven, now 16-2-3 for the season, will play Saline at 5 p.m. at Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central.

The other regional semifinal will have Forest Hills Central playing Okemos at the same location at 7 p.m. FH Central advanced out of its regional by turning back Caledonia 1-0.

The regional championship game is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 25 at Forest Hills Central.
