Senior running back DeOntay Moffett rushed for 130 yards on 11 carries, and eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for the season, as Mona Shores cruised past Grand Rapids Union 46-12 Friday in O-K Black Conference football action.

Mona Shores, now 7-1 overall and 4-1 in the league, will face undefeated Muskegon next Friday in a showdown for the conference title.

Moffett had two touchdowns for the Sailors. Quarterback Tyree Jackson  ran for one touchdown and threw a scoring pass to Kobe Burse. Spencer Stube recovered a fumble in the end zone for another Mona Shores score, while Noah Dykstra and Austin Wingett also found the end zone.
