Lake Hawks put on a scoring clinic in their 139-97 victory over the Oakland County Cowboys

Six players scored in double figures Sunday as the West Michigan Lake Hawks pounded the Oakland County Cowboys 139-97 in ABA action.

Will Wright led the offensive explosion for West Michigan with 26 points. 12 assists and 10 rebounds. But he had of plenty of company.

Idell Bell added 24 points, seven assists, seven rebounds and seven steals; Ralph Monday piled up 21 points and 13 rebounds, JhaMonte Melton contributed 17 points and three steals, Jacob Owen had 16 points and six assists while David Fox chipped in 10 points, nine rebounds and nine assists for the Lake Hawks.

The Lake Hawks will resume play Jan. 3 with a special game in Denver against the Colorado Kings, which is scheduled to be broadcast on the ESPN television network.
