Ralph Monday drove from half court, hit a layup, drew a foul and completed the three-point play with three seconds remaining Saturday, giving the Lake Michigan Lake Hawks an exciting 104-103 victory over the Indy Naptown All-Stars.

The Lake Hawks led 28-23 after one quarter and 51-46 at halftime. But the All-Stars fought back in the second half and gained a 78-73 lead. The Lake Hawks pulled even down the stretch by making 8 of 12 shots from the free throw line.

Monday finished with 32 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and three steals. Will Wright added 23 points, eight rebounds and four steals, David Fox contributed 12 points, seven  rebounds, six assists and three steals while JhaMonte Melton chipped in 11 points.

The Lake Hawks’ next home game is Dec. 21 against Team Network at Muskegon High School at 6 p.m.
