Muskegon’s defense kept Grand Rapids Kenowa Hills quiet through three quarters Friday as the Big Red boys topped the Knights 59-42 in O-K Black action on Friday.

The Big Reds gave up just 15 first half points to lead 23-15 at the break.

Muskegon’s offense woke up in the third quarter and produced 25 points to take a 48-21 lead to start the fourth.

Deyonta Davis led the Big Reds with 21 points and 15 rebounds while Joeviair Kennedy put in 15 points. Derek Gillman paced Kenowa with 13 points and Noah Gloe put in 12.
