Big Red boys recover from quiet first half and pull away from Reeths-Puffer 69-26

The Muskegon Big Reds led by only seven points at halftime, then used defensive pressure in the second half to shut down Reeths-Puffer and claim a 69-26 boys basketball victory in O-K Black league play.

Deyonta Davis had another big game for Muskegon, collecting 29 points, 19 rebounds and six blocks. Joeviar Kennedy added 13 points, eight assists and five rebounds for the Big Reds, who improved to 9-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference.

Joey Olsen had seven points for Reeths-Puffer (5-4, 1-1).
