The Muskegon Community College women’s basketball team ran its winning streak to four games with a 64-45 victory over Lansing Community College on Wednesday.

The Jayhawks took control early, pressuring LCC and forcing turnovers that turned into points. They led by 16 at halftime and never looked back.

MCC, which improved to 12-7 overall and 5-3 in league play, outrebounded LCC 49-40.

Morgan Giddings led the way with 14 points and added seven steals.

MCC hosts Lake Michigan College at 5:30 p.m. Friday in a league matchup.
