The Western Michigan Christian boys basketball team grabbed an 11-point halftime lead en route to a 71-57 victory Friday over Grand River Prep in River Valley Conference action. Jacob Ray paced WMC with 23 points and nine rebounds. Logan Waller finished with 11 points and six assists, Devin Eekhoff had 10 rebounds and Jared Varnado added six assists. Shahabah Camp scored 25 points for Grand River Prep.

Western Michigan Christian improved to 6-2 overall and 1-0 in the league.

Grand River Prep 63, Western Michigan Christian 38Mariah McCully scored 38 points as Grand Rapids Prep overwhelmed the Warriors. Alyssa Wright led WMC with 10 points while Lindsey Johnson had eight points and five rebounds.
