Western Michigan Christian downs North Muskegon in girls basketball, 48-33

The Western Michigan Christian girls basketball team jumped out to a six-point lead after one quarter and cruised to a 48-33 victory over North Muskegon Monday in non-league action.

The Warriors sealed the win by outscoring the Norse 25-15 in the second half.

Alyssa Wright and Cassie Kingma paced Western Michigan Christian with 10 points apiece.

Olivia Duncan led North Muskegon with 15 points while Mya Duncan added eight.

WMC improved to 4-5 on the season while North Muskegon fell to 2-6.
