North Muskegon had a strong first half on the offensive end and cruised to a 58-42 victory over Fruitport.

North Muskegon, which led 29-18 at halftime, also was hot from the outside with eight 3-pointers.

Ben Gautraud led NM with 17 points while Riley Fairfield added 15. James Duncan scored 10 points and pulled down nine rebounds.

Antonio Flores paced Fruitport with 17 points.

GR Ottawa Hills 72 Muskegon Heights 57 – The Tigers’ (8-5) defense wasn’t able to stop Ottawa Hills. The Tigers were led by Antonio Jones with 14 points.

Holland 65, Reeths-Puffer 49 – Reeths-Puffer pulled to within four points in the fourth quarter, but turnovers cost the Rockets a chance to get any closer. Reeths-Puffer received solid scoring from Jalen Cooley and Joey Olsen. Cooley scored 16 points and Olsen added 11.

Montague 67, Orchard  View 43 – Jacob Buchberger proved unstoppable for Montague (7-6) in a lopsided victory over Orchard View. Buchberger poured in 25 points, pulled down five rebounds, dished out six assists and had five steals. Dontay Smith added 12 points for Montague.

Coopersville 60, Spring Lake 53 – The host Lakers led 35-29 at the half, but were outscored 31-18 in the second half. Kyle Zietlow led Spring Lake with 17 points. Keegan George added 15 points and eight rebounds. Nick Dekkenga led Coopersville with 22 points.

Newaygo 69, Fremont 62 – The Newaygo defense forced 23 Fremont (4-10, 3-3) turnovers en route to the victory. The Lions were led by James Warren with 14 points. Fremont was led by Nathan Hoffman with 16 points.

Hesperia 84, Holland Black River 58 – Traxton Gordon dumped in 29 points to lead a balanced scoring attack. The Panthers were off and rolling early with a 16-point lead after one quarter and 24 by halftime. Joe Allen added 16 points and eight rebounds and Jake Palmer had 14 points.
