The Whitehall boys basketball team outscored rival Montague by 12 points in the second half to claim a 38-26 season-ending victory Thursday in West Michigan Conference action.

Keenan Aylor and Lucas Schumm paced the Vikings (12-6 overall, 9-5 conference) with 16 points apiece.

Jacob Buchberger scored 18 points for Montague (8-11, 4-10).

Fremont 65, Ludington 56 – The Packers (6-14, 5-5) used a 24-19 fourth quarter advantage to hold off the Orioles (8-12, 5-5). Fremont was led by Cam Crosley with 22 points. Noah Laman had 23 points for Ludington.

Fruitport 39, Orchard View 32 – The Trojans (4-16, 3-70) used a 15-8 second quarter advantage to take the lead for good. Fruitport was led by Kody Brooks and Nathan Kriger with eight points apiece. Matias Keyes was the high scorer for Orchard View (2-17, 0-10) with eight points.

Mason County Eastern 56, Hart 55 – The Pirates (0-18) battled back from a seven point deficit with under three minutes left, then fell victim to a buzzer-beating tip-in. Travis Hall led Hart with 21 points.

Mason County Central 53, Manistee 37 – The Spartans finished the regular season with a win behind 11 points from Sean Kelley and Coltyn Tyndall.

Holton 55, Fruitport Calvary Christian 48 – The Red Devils (5-13) were able to hold off the Eagles (5-12) in a game that was close from start to finish. Clay Mullins paced Holton with 16 points. The Eagles were led by Brendan Hamilton with 21 points.
